Youth Link: NI wishes to update its register of people interested in delivering accredited and non-accredited training programmes in the following areas:

  • Conflict Transformation
  • Community Relations
  • Youth & Community Work

Applicants must be in agreement with the ethos and values of Youth Link, hold at least a Level 5 qualification AND an accredited youth work / community relations qualification, and have at least three years experience (full-time, part-time or voluntary) in youth work, preferably within the Church and / or community sector. 

Hourly Payment Rates, 2010/11

Degree Programme:                           £25.00
OCN Level 3 Programmes:                Lead Facilitator  - £22.50; Co-Facilitator - £21.50
OCN Level 2 Programmes:                Lead Facilitator  - £22.50; Co-Facilitator - £21.50
OCN Level 1 Programmes:                Lead Facilitator  - £21.00; Co-Facilitator - £20.00
Non-Accredited Programmes:           £15.00

Travel expenses will also be reimbursed. 

TRAINEE FACILITATORS / MENTORS

Expressions of interest are also welcome from those who are interested in working as a trainee facilitator / mentor in the aforementioned areas of work.

This large congregation wishes to appoint a Youth & Children’s Worker on a part time basis (20 hrs per week) for a fixed term of 2 years to assist in the spiritual growth of young people (aged 13-25) in the congregation and local community. Applicants will be a committed Christian with relevant experience & qualification in youth work.

Terms; £19k per annum (Pro Rata) plus expenses - FT, 2 year contract.
